I nearly passed on this short story collection even though it was free. From the title and the author's warning that you would need to like twisted, sick stories filled with violence and harsh language, I figured I would not care for the stories. But I looked at the other reviews and saw only positive ones excerpt for a really bad one from a guy who did not read the book but decided from the press release that it would be bad. What a fool he was. I didn't want to make a decision without at least trying it, so I gave it a chance.

Like I said that guy was a fool. There are some really great stories in here. I also feel the author made a mistake with his warning and title selection. I was expecting a lot of horror and gore filled stories. The stories had a wide range of topics. There was humor, horror, drama, absurdity, and a few that did not really fit into any mold. I felt some of the strongest stories were the humorous ones.

The stories are short. Most took less than ten minutes to read. They were the perfect length to read on a work break, waiting in a doctor's office, or taking a bathroom break.

One thing that bothered me at times was some of the language. It seems strange that an author that has such a vivid imagination took the easy way with the language at times. Admittedly it fit the story sometimes, but several times, I felt it could have been avoided especially by this author.

Overall these stories will make you think, laugh, or scratch your head at times. I would say ignore the attempts at being shocking and simply have a good time reading these tales of wonder.

Smart and funny. Unexpected and clever. Well worth the read. i am Looking forward to reading more by this author.
I'm pretty sure that one of these stories will be the best story you have ever read. I found my favorite in here and there isn't one story that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. A great diversity and a lot of surprises await you. I can't recommend a book any more highly than I do this one. You won't be disappointed!
I love stories with twists and this book has more than its fair share. Some stories I enjoyed, others I did not because they were so intense, still I read to the end because I am a glutton for punishment. Not to say I didn't like the book, because I definitely did.
Not for the faint of heart, this collection of small "novellas" shows imagination with some shock factor. This must be what Stephen King dreams about on his naps! I liked the fact that I could read each one as a stand alone story. Great read!
This book was full of creativity and plot twists. I would finish one story and couldn't wait to start the next. Lots of tired days at work from staying yup to late to read just one more. Timer continues to surprise me with his creative abilities. Truly my favorite author and a stand up guy. I will always be a fan.
Some stories I enjoyed, others I did not because they were so dark. I especially enjoyed "egg 1" Most of the time is was a fast read while some stories drew me in deeper and I read slowly to understand the complexities of the character. I really enjoy Tyler Nals books and this is the 3rd I have read. While liking this book my favorites are A fishy poker tournament and The dark side of the felt.
Thanks again Tyler.. I highly recommend this book but do enjoy the poker stories more!
It was a complete entertainment to read such a book full of twists. It has creatively written and from my aspect, it is a thought provoking release by Tyler Nals. This collection of short stories is very unique and I was very excited while I was reading. It hooked me into the stories and the characters are very well organized in every scene.

It's an ultimate package of fun, twists, humor, excitement and scary scenes. I found it very real and delightful. Such a captivating story collection, which lets me dive into the ocean of mixed feelings and helped me to crawl back the old days.

I must mention, the author's way of thinking was exceptionally brilliant. Passed such a wonderful time reading Twisted Sick. It was simply an awesome read.
